Very interesting. Calming, but also disturbing in a way?

This looks exactly like the entryway to a house where I spent so much of my time growing up. Impressive work...

I love that! This is the house my mom grew up in, and it’s still in the family even though my grandparents have since passed. :)

There is something intriguing about all those doors

I know, right? I believe this is what my grandparents’ house looked like when they first moved in in the ‘60s. It’s decorated now but those doors are there :)

The doors, with the front door center. Then the view outside, through the window. I have to wonder if he was looking for something.

Hope my trolling didn’t upset you. I do love the possibilities of all the doors.

Love the painting, by the woodwork, i would say somewhere in the North East. Has a very New England vibe to it, especially the latches. Oddly the trim also...i'm sure you're going to tell me its nowhere near ;)

No you’re correct! Vermont. :)

Nice, I was going to go that far, i'm from mid way up the state on the NH side of the river. Very reminiscent of many family homes(aunts/uncles) as a kid. Even the house that i own, and grew up in, but most of those latches have been changed. Built in 1867
