Take them on walks. Dogs love the snow.

A dog park on a snowy morning is the best.

I should have expanded. I have 4 labs that are trained for hunting purposes, and while we do tons of walks up here, I feel like I could be doing more on their mental work than just a walk.

Me and my dog put on jackets. We layer up. He’s a shorthair and I’m anemic so it works out we both need to keep moving . We’re both anxious but want attention from people too but that’s not relevant right now

We do agility even in -30C. We also go cross country skiing together!

We get our dog (German shepherd × rotty mix) frozen beef marrow bones from the butcher. They're usually cut into 4-5 inch wide rounds and gives her quite a workout and stimulation to chew on it! We also play lots of fetch, usually up and down the stairs to really tucker her out.

Sadly, we all just sat around snacking and getting fatter. It was a great time, but now we're all pudgy and needing to drop a few pounds.

Haha I have some friends in the same boat! I can appreciate that though. It’s been a long cold winter where I’m at!
