Hi there! I am seeking some advice on a new pair of boots and figured you guys would be the best to help me find a good quality pair that will last me longer than my current ones lol

I have been living in doc martens for the last 5/6 years, mostly because they just go with everything. But I enjoy hiking/trekking trips so I have another pair of boots to wear on these occasions that could do with being replaced in the very near future.

So what I’m hoping for is a pair of boots that I can wear daily that look nice, similar in style to docs. But, are also more suitable for hiking so that I don’t have to carry around 2 pairs while I do some travelling.

While I do think that something like the limmer boots would be pretty perfect for my situation, they are out of my preferred budget. If you guys think they are 100% worth the money I might be consider it, but I would prefer something 250 €/$ or under.

I know I’m being fussy here, but just gonna put it out there anyways at the chance there is something suited to my needs. Thanks in advance!

I recently got a pair of African Rangers in crazyhorse and I have to say I think these are some snazzy looking boots after polishing them up a bit.

my oldest redwing is from... bought 2003ish, "used" - still going strong - gave it to the cobbler for a rebuild today... after 20 years it was finally necessary. in six weeks i'll have a nearly brand new boot for 190€ in service (new insole, two new midsoles and new commando sole). wich will serve me another 20 years and a few resoles.

Grinder and Solovair are two good similar boot companies that are also England-based
