If you go frame by frame I bet you could figure out the license plate

Bummer. Have you looked at the video of the cars separating? That will be slower and is more likely to have legible license plate.

wait, does the video not continue after that? I went frame by frame but it's going too fast, so it's just a blur.

you should try to get higher quality footage from your cam. right now you have about 1/4 of a 720p screen, is there any way to get higher quality?

Not trying to be a jerk but are there better cameras for cars that grab license plate numbers? Seems like a common use.
