Cultural associations/memes specific to CT?

Hi everyone! Backstory: I'm from Cleveland and randomly met a Connecticut fella online and fell in love, fast forward 3 years we now live together here in Ohio. He moved here to be with me and I can tell he really misses home, so I wanted to get/do something special for him for Christmas. I've been to CT a few times, when we were long distance and after living together to visit his family, but I haven't seen or done too much since we met during covid and our trips have all been pretty short. Does anyone have any ideas of things that are super Connecticut-y? What comes to mind when you think of specifically Connecticut things? Any local celebrities or iconic foods or special landmarks, besides super touristy ones? Bonus points if they're South Windsor/Manchester/Hartford related. Thank you in advance! :)

I think that would ruin his Christmas 😂 when we were still long distance he was out of power almost a week one time, longest week of my life lol

Not an answer, but fun fact.... Cleveland was named after a guy from CT. At one point there were more people living in Ohio born in CT than from any other state. Ohio was a great place to move to once you became tired of growing rocks.

We had I think 3 or 4 trips before he moved here, he ended up coming a lot earlier than we thought because my lovely mother offered for him to stay in her guest room so he could find work here before moving in with me 🙏🏼 but he absolutely loves cleveland and Ohio in general so suck on that 😂
