Are there any places in CT (or close by in other states) that buy American Girl dolls? My daughter has a few she doesn’t use any more and we’re wondering if any places would buy them.
Thank you!

We’re trying to keep it local so we don’t have to worry about shipping. But thank you!
I've driven by a doll shop in East Hampton a few times... Calling All Dolls? It seems like a doll hospita/shop and I think they sell pre-owned dolls.
On rt 66 in Cobalt section of town very close to the Portland town line.
Which dolls are they? My kids have been asking for some, but can’t recall specifically at the moment - I’ll check with them later.
Alternatively, I know there are some places in or around Connecticut that collect used American Girl dolls and refurbish them to donate.
Let me take a look. They are in decent shape. I can get you the list later.
Sounds good - just let me know. If you were interested in the donation route I can track down the name of the organization as well.
I would try selling them on Facebook Marketplace. A lot of people collect them, and I think you’d get a better price selling them to someone directly than to a reseller.
If they’re in good shape do a Facebook marketplace and take some off the price a bit. Those are expensive, I still have mine from childhood for my daughter if she wants them but she’s just a baby right now.
Not sure if it's around anymore, but there used to be a consignment shop in Simsbury focused on American Girl dolls, right on Hopmeadow near Starbucks.
Nobody wants them (or rather nobody wants to pay you for them)
Who hurt you?
I kind of agree, not many people are in situation where they cannot afford American girl doll but still are willing and able to pay substantial (compared to other available new dolls) amount for them. You may be lucky on Facebook marketplace before Xmas especially if you have the original packaging.
Nobody, I’m just tired of everyone assuming their useless crap has monetary value
