I have 6 junk tires from the previous owner still at my house. There is a private dump here but it is $15 per tire. I was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere that is less expensive or free.

Let me introduce you to my neighbor a few streets over, he’ll take them off your hands!

He is also supposedly being evicted and is rumored to have threatened to burn the whole place down, so hopefully I’m not breathing in burning tire fumes this time next week

I second this. I just dump them in someone else's yard. As long as you don't get caught you're good.

According to the DEEP there’s a few places that take tires for recycling. Closest to you is in Southington. Don’t know if there’s a fee. I’d call first.
