Howdy everybody with flooring skills. I need to fill a void on the bottom of an aluminum platform. I would like to make it all smooth so that I can put down a peel and stick foam floor. So here is my question that I hope people could answer for me…
I have a couple of buckets of two part epoxy flooring adhesive (it says it is indoor/outdoor). Could I just use the epoxy adhesive as a type of filler? I mean, mix it and pour in onto the surface and let it all level out and then have it cure. The whole area would then be fleas, with some areas having a much much thicker layer of epoxy. Then I stick the foam to this layer.
Do you think this would work, or am i just making a problem for myself?
