Yeah there’s some spots on the top of the mountain where you can feel the heat seeping through the rocks

Did that hike back in the early 2000s. I remember these younger Indonesian kids following me in their flip flops crushing it.

Me and the girlfriend at the time (wife now) did this hike when we were in Bali. At first I was pissed when she woke me up so early yo get ready. Even fell and scraped my wrist on the way up. The guides were quick to help and bandage it up. Still have the scars. But in the end it was so worth it seeing that sunrise from the top. The pictures were amazing.
