I did a tour, and not a hard hike at all. They drove us out to the entrance, and we walked through. When I went, there were several options and I think it took the "middle" one, but I recommend taking whatever option gives you the most time out there. I did feel a little rushed, even though I was able to get several images I love.

Don't fall for the booking scammers. There are only three main Navajo Antelope Canyon businesses. Ken & Dixie do Lower Antelope (brother & sister), Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours does upper canyon. On Google maps they're all near the intersection of highway 222 & 98. Lower is a slightly more difficult hike given some ladders and a set of steep stairs to enter (used to be the exit but they flipped the direction of the tour a few years back).
FYI, Navajo nation law still dictates that masks are mandatory during the tour.

Good point... I must have done the upper canyon because I didn't do any ladders or stairs, but I definitely need to get back.

I was thinking of doing the slots soon. Did you do a tour? Was it a long or hard hike?
