a long exposure with a waterfall is a bit a risk
it becomes easily a bit pompous
but the curves of the coastline makes it especially beautiful
therefore it needs an award

Hey, thank you so much for the award given, really appreciate it :D

About the shot itself, out of tons of shots I tried on the spot, this is the one that gives me the most satisfaction. At first I was doing burst shots, thinking of combining them in PS for greater long exposure effect, since I didn't have tripod nor filter at that moment. When I put them together, as you said before, it became rather 'off'. So in the end I only picked one single exposure at 1/5 second and the result was much better as shown here ;D Also, I'm a total noob in landscape as I'm mainly practising street photography and minimalism, so this is only something I shoot in between everything. Still much to learn.

nice story
sometimes you just have to be lucky

you write: and the result was much better as shown here
better then this one?
I'm curious about your minimalism
Let's see what appears under your nametag

I mean, the one I tried by stacking several shots for greater long exposure, it turned out pretty underwhelming, the water flow became too soft. This one I posted is much better, preserving much details of the flow.

To be clear, I'm nowhere a pro. I'm just a newbie who's still have much to learn ;D I haven't posted much of my minimalism here on reddit, but I do posted a few here, you can check my profile. I mostly posted them on my IG minima_alistic in case you want to check them out. Would love to know what you think about them.

I'm photographing since I was 13, and that was long ago
but being a pro, I don't think so
But there a lot here being worse...

It shows from your images you posted here on reddit. I gave a glance on your profile and there are a lot of good images there, gotta have a better look on each of them :D

I only recently practising more photography since picking up my first dedicated camera about 4 years ago. Before that, I shoot with my phone without any real intent of indulging more into photography. Now it becomes my kind of meditation, such as when I wander the road for street photography.

Oh, and btw, you're the first one I follow here ;D

I feel honoured

and if you cannot go outside making pictures, and the processing is done, Reddit is a nice place to dwell on
I just like to do more then only posting....

I'm starting to like Reddit as an image sharing platform better than IG. Other than likes/upvotes, I post my images to get critiques and see what others think about my work, and I don't get that on IG. Of course I also join some other subs to my liking which is a plus :D
