How was the hike to get there in the snow?

This looks to be taken at or just below Artist Point, which is a pretty easy snowshoe: park in the lot at Heather Meadows, strap on the snowshoes and begin trekking up hill while keeping right of the ski area's boundary rope line. Only about 1.5 miles and 900 ft to climb. If you've never been do make your first trip when the weather is good so you don't go astray and die out there.

Beautiful scene. I love mountain photography anyway. Sure looks a lot different than in summer!
