Went there on our honeymoon 2 years ago. Drove up for sunset, was an amazing experience driving through the blanket of clouds and seeing the sky open up. Then standing there as the sun set was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen

The first time I went it was exactly that, just covered in the thickest fog, could hardly see the road going up, definitely grateful it wasn’t like that this time.

Same thing happened to me last year going up to the Mt St Helens visitor center. Couldn’t see a thing cause we were in a cloud the whole time.
