Every time I see Scotland I’m a bit shocked - as an American I didn’t know the landscape was that nice.

Wales, the north of England (Lake District/Peak District/Dales), the west country and quite a few other spots are also very beautiful. I always think tourists who only go to London are missing out, especially considering the UK isn't that big and it's relatively easy to access for an American who is used to the idea that a drive might take several days.

It's a stunning and vast with loads of mountains! Granted they're all fairly small compared to mountains in other countries but still such a beautiful place 👌

I’m from Washington State and Scotland is nearly as beautiful as our state, the people are far nicer.

What was the hike like? Was there a pathway dug out or was it more of an instance where you had to try and figure out where you were going using a map?

Not much of a hike really, leap over a barrier at the roadside and try not to fall on my ass whilst going down a steep hill, it was somewhat dug out from lots of people going there over the years, if you were to head there after heavy rainfall I imagine it would be very boggy underfoot! 5/10 min walk tops I'd say 👍

Incredible depth and clarity throught the entire image. What lens and settings did you use for this shot?
