Sure, but when you’ve got kids they call it neglect.

Balance. As someone who enjoys spending most time alone, I’ve gotten to a point where I make sure on most days I spend even 2 hours outside interacting with people and it’s really helped.

As opposed to before where I would either spend days alone which in my opinion isn’t very healthy or I would force myself to spend most of my time with people and end up drained.

Samesies. As a hermit, I make sure I spend 2 hours in the park every morning/evening and interact with people and then reserve one day out of the weekend for family and friends. I know if I don't do that, I can actually go on without talking to anyone for days lol

Nice! The park sounds like one of the best places to interact with people. Laughing at going days without talking to anyone because I have done that multiple times.

same! I enjoy having my weekends as a family/friends day and my weekdays as just me-time. Keeps me sane honestly.

I am neither complete nor interesting and still enjoy alone time more than being with people.

Hey, I don't mean to be rude but I think your coming at this from only one angle, and it's a rather faulty one for this specific situation. I think that you're interpreting this as "being an asocial and isolated while still managing to be happy is how you know you're emotionally healthy" rather than a message I'd consider much closer to the original intent and even the actual execution of the meme itself which is: "Being able to spend time with yourself and even reflect on your emotional state/wellbing/self without immediately feeling empty is a sign of good health that you should strive to."

Disagree. Happiness isn't real until shared.

Realizing that you like spending time by yourself does not preclude the possibility to spend time with others.

Yes and no. I wfh alone. Sure, I have friends and fwbs, but still... being alone for 14+ out of 18 waking hours is kind of stupid. I love my own company, and I do not need this much of it.

I’ve always been this way. My mom told me that she had to tell my friends who were over that sometimes I like to wander off and do my own thing for a bit. She’d encourage them to play with my toys and I’d be back soon. I just had to breakout for like 5 mins on my own and then I’d be fine.

Some of my favorite things are taking myself out to dinner, seeing a movie alone, or traveling by myself.

I love spending time with people, however, from time to time it’s nice to not compromise with other’s wants and needs.

There’s no better feeling while traveling alone than to wake up and think, What do I want to do and eat today?”

Being alone a lot is really tough sometimes. Once you start losing a bit of interest in what you were focused on before it feels nice to be able to just look at other people and interact sometimes.
