Medjool dates are insanely delicious and healthy alternative to desserts, they taste like caramel and curb sugar cravings very successfully. You almost cannot tell you are eating a fruit and not a real dessert. What’s more, the do not contain process sugar and are rich in magnesium, copper, selenium, B6, etc.

By comparison, a full-size Hershey bar has 24g of sugar. So if you're craving sugar, yes, dates have quite a bit of sugar.
