Sleep and rest are JUST as important for health and working out, this is bad advice... if your soreness is painful the next it is most likely a nutrition deficiency.

When is the last time you took more than 6 months off from working out?

Your pro tip has no time-lapse, I'm assuming you meant the day after because what else could your post mean?

I mean someone who works out regularly doesn’t experience the next day soreness from a good workout.
This LPT is for that person who maybe is starting up for the first time or for someone who has taken A long break. For them they will be sore the next day.
The trick for me when working out soreness hits the next day to get up and very lightly use those muscles. If you did a leg day for instance get up and go for a walk. Don’t just sit on the couch.
And if you’ve really over done it then rest and ice. Not everyone will understand the difference between soreness and injuries but how you treat them makes a world of difference

I appreciate the classification. I'm sorry if I came off abrasive, this clarifies everything.
