i say this in every tmobile thread in the sub. this isnt the same tmobile from 5-10+ years ago. they had a huge coverage push up here within the last several years and are quite good, even away from the 95 corridor now. their coverage map is quite spot on i have found.
That's been my experience
I have been using it for a couple years, and totally not because of Ryan Reynolds. I live in the Belgrade Lakes area, and generally have no problem.
Deadpool threatened you then? 🤣 This is very helpful. Thanks for including your location! I’m wondering about the Newport area…
I have a huge crush on Ryan Reynolds, and my husband teases me that he is the entire reason we got Mint. The price was mostly the reason, but there is maybe a tiny sliver of RR love in there.
I've been using Mint in Southern Maine for several years for the wife and I. We love it. As the other person said, it does use TMobile, which includes their awesome 5g and low spectrum LTE which goes a long way. Don't get me wrong, there are indeed dead zones... especially the further you get away from 95. I live in Cape Neddick which is actually a dead zone, but I just use WiFi calling and texting for everything.
I don’t travel internationally very often, but out of curiosity, any experience with that?
I used to go to Canada fairly often a few years back. All I did was buy the international credits if I had to make a call, otherwise the data was free...I never had any issues
I use Mint Mobile and spend 75% of time in the Augusta/Waterville area. Works great, in fact, better than Verizon and US Cellular in the area.
My hubby and I live in Lincoln Maine and have had mint for a year. We have better service than we did with AT&T, both in Bangor and on 95 as well as elsewhere. 10/10 would recommend mint

I’m in Portland and been using it for 2 years. No issues. Paying $20 a month for unlimited talk/text and 10GB of monthly data is hard to beat. It still shocks me that there are people still paying $50-$100 a month 😂
Or more… 😭
How is that possible? Aren’t there a bunch of unlimited everything plans for $50-60 a month?

Mint Mobile uses T-Mobile's service. Which isn't very prevalent in Maine, or at least Downeast.
