Lyft will pick you up for free to take you to a job interview. Just read about it this morning.

I'm praying for you, we will about to be homeless in Virginia. My grandson's family created a place for us and truly rescued us. My heart feels ya. ❤️🌹

This world sucks and rent is way to high and it’s not right. However, anyone who doesn’t work is a fucking retard. Most of the time I would bet lazy over the shear stupidity of living somewhere where you can’t commute to work. If I ever have another roommate who lives with me in the woods and then says he can never find a job I will evict them. If you don’t have a car, move to the city and get a room share. There are plenty of people who want Roommate’s for 500 to 1000 move in. Plenty of jobs and all within walking or biking distance. Don’t like that idea? Who gives a shit cause it’s temporary so you can save money. People make that move and live in a Shelter so consider yourself lucky that you have funds for a room.

Sorry to hear you're in this situation.

Unfortunately what you're asking people to do is to take responsibility for a situation you should've taken responsibility for, and place themselves at risk.

Taking in a stranger, who has no job, not only long enough to spend all of their savings but seems to have no plans/motivation for finding a job (if you can't drive to a job interview, how will you drive to a job?) is a really bad idea. It can take a long time to evict someone, even without a lease, once they establish residency. When someone lives with a homeowner without a lease, they become a "tenant at will." For example, to evict you, the "landlord" must give you time after written notice and must get a court order if you are still not out after that time. Your girlfriend's roommate is lucky you left willingly when they kicked you out; if you had refused to leave it could have been an issue for them.

Maybe try calling your dad and humbly apologizing.
