I Literally get banned in every single sub because I'm consistently complaining about how Airbnb is a scourge and causing global housing crisis but because most of the people with money actually have airbnbs, even more than one I get banned every time I turn around. It is the hill I will die on. We need to make Airbnb illegal.

how large is "the portland area" considering it includes lewiston?
mamunipsaq t1_j2eq78o wrote
It's the Portland -South Portland-Lewiston Combined Statistical Area.
So that's the entirety of Cumberland, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc, and York counties.
This is not exactly something that's Portland specific.

Sadly Portland is just a huge hotel and soon we will need to bus people in to staff all the restaurants.

Yet complaining about AirBnB and its hosts is "off topic"...
