Oh, I like that. 40% + numpad… are the cap sizes relatively normal?

I don’t suppose they do it in ISO shape do they?

OP t1_ixmbfun wrote

Thanks :D Normal mx cherry caps. That size Enter is hard to find but i managed somehow :D And no, its only ansi but you have options to choose southpaw or normal numpad ;) two different pcbs in same case .

I’m wondering if anyone makes an iso board in this style?

Note this keyboard (Lyra) isn’t available anymore, while some local people got the board, the person fulfilling, Santigo, scammed the members of this group buy and the subsequent one Monoflex

OP t1_ixmq4pw wrote

Tru Dat, but some people took that GB in their own hands and you can still buy it :)

Ah, because of the Ukraine war I wasn’t sure if those efforts had stalled, regardless, Santigo is still a scammer if anyone happens to see them attempt more GBs

OP t1_ixmrnhh wrote

This is ReLyra, resurrected Lyra after the Santigo scammed everyone. Authors open sourced PCB & case design and I ran a batch selling them at production cost. Still have quite a few available but I am not actively marketing them due to lack of time. Best to head over to discord if you are interested or PM me.

Very cool board, wish I had money. Personally I would use the left columns as extended modifiers like on old ASCII terminals and for macro/f keys

OP t1_ixni689 wrote

Not a bad idea, but without dedicated macropad for numbers it would be useless for me cause i dont like using Fn/macro

Fair, I’m weird in that I don’t mind the layers as QMK allows everything to be tuned just right. There are also a few key sets now tuned to 40% users with sublegends on the caps. Also attaching front print stickers helps a lot with memorizing a layout. I find it intuitive since I’ve been using 60s for a while which require some function layer use, started with the HHKB.
