I recently found that most of my favorite bands from the ‘60s and ‘70s have an “ee/ea” sound in their name. Is that just coincidence or is there a science to it? (like the color red is supposed to incite hunger)
A few examples: Beatles, Bee gees, Beach Boys, Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fleetwood Mac, The Police, Queen, The Monkees, etc.
Of course there are exceptions, but it really stands out once you’re aware

Because e is the most often used letter in the English language.
