Slipknot’s look is way too similar to be a coincidence

Slipknot and Korn would not exist without Mr. Bungle. The band was highly influential for both of them. I remember reading some interviews where Corey Taylor and Jonathan Davis talk about this.

Pretty much almost all metal has been influenced but Bungle/faith No More over the last 3 decades.

Yeah for sure, I mean you can hear it, but to take even the look seems kinda cheesy

Those poor Incubus fans never saw it coming

They lost a staring contest with Buckethead and had to remove the masks.

Girls of Porn has no right to have such a good riff in a song that could never get air time

Litterally one of the best metal bands of band of all time like, at LEAST in a top 10

No mention of The Mentors?

(They wore executioner masks, at least at one point)

Going back to their "hits", I can't imagine wtf I ever listened to them in the first place. Not really even offensive so much, but lacking guitar riffs and boring-ass lyrics, LOL.

Yeah The Mentors were a novelty, I only knew about them because of GWAR on Jerry Springer.

I remember seeing a local band called Psychotic Symphony back when I lived in LA County. They had a similar thing going on with everyone wearing masks, plus costumes (the lead guitarist was in a nun's habit). This was around the same time Mr. Bungle was gaining attention.

And of course by that time GWAR had been a thing for a while.

I have literally never heard of Mr Bungle, so I can only assume this is Slipknot before they were famous
