After much stress and a long couple weeks, my dad's ashes are home.I was told that the storage facility in fact sold him with the unit, but the buyer brought him and some other important paperwork and pictures back. She's lost everything else she owned, but at least we got him home. He'll be staying with me until my mom finds a place she Cana afford on her social security.
