Looking to leave the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in - Cumberland crossing- this spring. I work in Cranston and my boyfriend works in Boston but hardly ever (a handful times a year) has to go into the office.

We have a large dog and would like as much square footage as possible. Currently rentals 2 bed two bath for $2300 but they are increasing the price soon.

I would enjoy proximity to a bike path or safe space to run and walk/hike.

Is there anything out there? Thanks I’m advance.

For $2300 you can get a nice house

At the current interest rates, I'm going to say unlikely. Even in Warwick and absolutely not in Southern MA unless OP has a large downpayment to offset the interest rate.

I know that is eventual goal and could be an optional but the timing isn’t right for may to make the big of an investment but totally agree I hate the amount of $ pumped into the apt

The lofts along Valley Street are dog-friendly (mostly), definitely US Rubber and Rising Sun Mills. Both have nice bike paths and such. Smallish parks are pretty close to either.
