Cuz it’s a societal expectation that you’re supposed to spend them with your family, if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t think that it was something you had to do

Nope. I loved my family and would give anything to spend holidays with them again. Now I just pretend they don’t happen. Societal expectations have never been a thing for me.

I hate them because it makes my job an absolute shit show. I have to work more, work harder, and deal with every ungrateful asshole alive. But we get Christmas off.
