Blind people can't "see" darkness, the same way your foot doesn't see colors.

I assumed blind people only see darkness?

They don’t see at all.

Is it not just dark? Or is it litterally incomprehensible just like it is for blind people to imagine sight?

Try imagining nothing (darkness doesn’t count because that’s still a color so it’s still something). You can’t because you’re unable to experience “nothing”. Same with blindness but for sight.

The best way to imagine this is closing one eye, and you’ll notice you don’t see anything, not even darkness, it just disappears. That’s how being blind is.

I always thought I saw darkness if I had one eye closed. Guess you can say you just gave me a whole new perspective.

Every comment here “blind people”

Same as my post about the only single object everyone has seen being the moon, every comment “the sun” or “the blind”
