Not nearly as big as Al gore's. Plus she got a vacation out of it too. Very wholesome story

Of course you bring that into it as if it’s relevant and of course you’re a Jordan Peterson fan lol

Dr Peterson inspired me to clean my house, got my acts together which allowed me to buy another house in Hawaii. And then I cleaned that one too.

the story isn't about Al Gore.

Native Hawaiians are begging people to stop visiting/vacationing there. This is not uplifting. Huge waste of money and resources not to mention indicative of her needing therapy.
Open-Satisfaction-36 OP t1_irxypts wrote
Lol what do you know about native Hawaiians? I actually live in Hawaii and interact with plenty of native Hawaiians. Most of them are hospitable and welcome tourists. It is the mainland haole transplants who complain about tourists

But then again, I doubt I would have found anything "uplifting" about someone causing a considerable amount of carbon emissions just for scattering some rodent's ashes on the other side of the planet.

Never stop going to Hawaii! :)
Right now it is actually great time to visit. Airfares have gone down and weather cooling off

Have some shame. dont encourage people to pollute the planet even more.
Lucky_War_1568 t1_is0ee8d wrote
and native Hawaiians still don’t want you there! Did you know the UN recognizes Hawaii as an illegally occupied sovereign nation? Hawaii isn’t even a state. and native Hawaiians make up the largest percentage of unhoused because yt people want a vacation state.

I don't understand why everyone is being so horrible. A person got an animal that they said saved their life, they dedicated a huge part of their life making that animals life the best it could possibly be, that animal lived past the life expectancy it was so happy, it eventually died, the human is bringing it to have a final resting spot that it would have loved... how is that bad? It's beautiful.

She decided to go on vacation to Hawaii after her hamster died and decided to bring the hamster’s ashes with her to disperse them while she was there. She didn’t fly across the world JUST to leave her hamsters ashes.
