Relative to average local income yes, but if you don't mind commuting a LONG way maybe not....

West side of the state, along the I-5 corridor are busy, overcrowded, and overpriced. The further away from a major highway, the better.
It is pretty and green on this side. We do have a lot of resources. Finally got to the wet time of the year.
