Normally my go-to is Darbys in West Boylston (their "purple wheat" bread is my favorite) but they are closed on Sundays. Any good ones in Worcester for fresh bread?

Great bread but so overpriced
If you’re willing to drive to west boylston, there’s Gerardo’s off the main strip crossing in from Worcester.
Or off of pleasant street, heading towards Paxton there’s a small bakery called On the Rise. Like most, you want it fresh best to get there early. Best of luck!
I didn’t realize Gerardo’s had bread? I think of them more for cannolis and other pastries
Some of the best fresh Italian bread I've had. It's a Christmas staple to go with the pot of sauce and meatballs!!
They do have bread, but it’s first come first serve you gotta get there early
Gerardo’s doesn’t sell bread: I stopped by last week.
Heard woman behind desk say they sold bread, maybe she was new?
I suggest someone call them. That’s what I was told when I stopped in looking to buy bread.
Sundays are for bagels.
Bagel time
Bagel Inn
Crust but go to the one on Main Street. The one on west boylston isn’t as good
I personally think the W. Boylston location is better for pastries, drinks, etc. But you have to get there early or they sell out. I wish they had certain items just slightly later in the afternoon. Their poptarts are quite good but I have only gotten their early enough to have them maybe once or twice.
Main St. location, like you said, is probably better for bread and it still has certain pastries.
Crust on Main Street or birch tree bakery!!!
Palma’s
MELVIN UDALL: There's a bakery on the corner that'll be open soon. That way we're not screwy, but two people that like warm rolls.
