Covid vaccine clinic happening again tomorrow (Saturday) at the Worcester Public Library, 12-5! Anyone receiving a vaccine will also be receiving a $75 gift card to Walmart. Clinics are every Saturday 12-5 and every Wednesday 3-7.

The vaccine works to significantly reduce severity, hospitalization rate, and mortality rate of COVID-19.

For those wondering if you can come even if you lost your vaccine card: yes! You can.

The people at registration desk can look up the dates of your prior doses when you tell them your name, regardless of where you received your prior doses, and they will give you a new card.

You also do not need to be a Worcester resident or show proof of residence. All you need to bring is any government-issued ID.

I expect this thread will get locked like the last one, but wanted to put the info out. If you are interested in getting a vaccine and have questions, please leave a comment or message me and I will do my best to get back to everyone.

Sincerely, A med student and volunteer vaccinator

Also seems worth mentioning: I do not get paid to post this or vaccinate anyone. And, I got my bivalent booster in September, before there were incentives. I just want people to stay safe and get free money.

Edit: added info about not needing to be a Worcester resident, since I got a confirmed answer on that one just now.

Nice! I didn't vaccinate any whole families so you didn't have me, but I was there!

Enjoy your spending spree 🤩

Thank you for encouraging readers not to be douchebags!

I have one request/suggestion. I would be more inclined to describe the conspiracy theories you're referring to without insulting people who suffer from schizophrenia by using the word "schizo."

I assume that wasn't your intention. Just wanted to give a gentle reminder that someone with schizophrenia, including someone with schizophrenia who wants a vaccine, might read that.

People with schizophrenia are not to blame for the spread of fake news. Fear mongering and misinformation are to blame for that.

I don't know if you noticed on the other post, but a lot of the anti-vaccine people who funneled in here were not from Worcester or from MA. They did all seem to be active users in vaccine conspiracy subs...

Man, nothing gives me more confidence about a medical procedure than being next to a volume or Aristotle and Agatha Christie.
