Hi! I’m 23 year old engineer who is looking to get more experience with hands on projects. Ideally looking for a mechanic, woodworker, carpenter, or some other artisan who works with their hands.

I’m more than happy to assist and shadow for free. I’m just looking for experience and a mentor.

If you or anyone you know I’m Baltimore fits the bill, please DM me or comment below.

Thanks!

Check out station north tool library. They offer woodworking courses as well as a knife making class. Between those two you will get a decent start in shop tools and materials.

Call either Greenleaf Construction or Turner Troxell. Both do custom building and renovation. Generally work in Ruxton, Roland Park, Towson. They do great work and always have sharp guys working for them. I drive a tractor trailer delivering building material to both and you cant go wrong if you get on with them. Hope this was helpful.

Not sure. Cant hurt to ask. If you pitch them the right way why not!

You can look at Hayles & Howe. They do high end and commercial ornamental plaster work.
