I'd be down! I'm not sure about the cosplay. Maybe Vash the Stampede since that reboot is surprisingly good! I saw in another comment that Shore Leave is in Cockeysville and that's where I am. Send me a DM! I'm also trying to make some friends.

I've dabbled in it. I think most of the major cons are in DC now but that there are occasional smaller ones in the city.

Couple of smaller ones are Far Point (February) and Shore Leave (July), both out in Cockeysville. They're fun. (The big kahuna is DragonCon in Atlanta on Labor Day.)

Hotel's already booked out but I'm sure there are still badges. The nice thing about these two is that you can just drive up there for a day. (Or take transit—the light rail lets off about a half mile from the hotel.)

I do. I go to Katsucon in the National Harbor every year. I’m again in February. And OtaKon in DC in July. I just moved to Baltimore so you’ll see me at the Bmore Comic-Con as well.

I’m so upset I couldn’t get out of my own way back then. I was a black teen from Baltimore and everyone told me that it was only for “weird white people.” And I know how wrong they are now. But so many years wasted on that Terrible ideology.

Will be at Richmond GalaxyCon. Undecided if I'm dressing up - working a friend's booth.

The guest list at that one's pretty fantastic, I suggest making the trip.

(My last cosplays were for Baltimore Comic Con before the pandemic - I was genderbent Beetlejuice on Sunday and cartoon Lydia on Saturday. Nobody recognized Lydia but everyone recognized BJ. :D )

My wife and I! She’s more of a cosplayer while I’m more of a cosplay photographer, but we do lots of events and event like to host meetups in the area.
