Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore, “Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven, Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore— Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!” Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

In recent years. I have seen huge flocks (murder) of crows, esp in the winter. One area is on Liberty Hts Ave & Hilton, where the lake used to be. In the late afternoon, they would congregate by the hundreds in the trees. Very neat to see.

This is just a small portion of the entire flock. When I come home in the evenings and they're still flying around it looks like a Hitchcock movie. It sounds like rain when they're pooping en mass. I'm just impressed they can withstand the winter, never thought about whether or not crows are migratory.

Oh, is this that huge flock of them in Mt. Vernon, right near the old fire station? They seem to love that area.

The cars in the area hate them, it’s cartoonishly funny seeing the cars just smothered in bird poop
