Daaamn RIP to classy Mel.

Should’ve been mayor over Flynn. We’d all be better for it.

Damn. He did and advocated for so much in this city. I do believe him and Flynn still hold the record for most votes in a mayoral race in Bostin. RIP Mel.

Met him once years ago - great guy and he did so much good.

Might be time to re-read his book in honor.

My 79 year old father grew up in the south end, poor. He participated in some of the things Mel set up for disadvantaged kids. Mel King was a great man.
