It’s like paying for Consumer Reports. Are you gonna trust the people being paid by consumers or the ones beholden to advertisers?
Also newspapers are dirt cheap. People pay more for Hulu with ads.

My nyt subscription is by far the most expensive content subscription I have. I believe it's $35 a month.
