Stay away from the orange and green lines. They’re closed downtown and the open sections are running very infrequently.

Yeah, it's a shame the OL was shut down the day of the Chinese New Year parade

Does anyone know where to buy brunost? It's not among the cheeses sold at any of my local stores. Ski Queen is the brand most frequently sold in the US, if you're more familiar with that name.

Might be worth calling a Wegmans. They generally have a great cheese selection. Alternatively am sure Formaggio Kitchen would carry it.

If you don’t need it right now, I bet any nicer grocery store cheese counter could order it.

I’ve seen ski queen at Whole Foods! Specifically the Ink block location, but it might be elsewhere. I also may have seen it once at formaggio kitchen, but I’m not 100% sure about that one

My favorite part about going out in Boston/Somerville/Cambridge is that there is ALWAYS some drunk transplant from like...Cleveland...who has the most absurdly out of touch, neighborhood-locked takes, because theyve only lived here for all of < 2 years, and have no car/have barely left their neighborhood ever.

"Its just so wild to me that theres literally nowhere in the Boston area that serves _______ food!"

Sir, what?

I mean in Cleveland you can get to Pittsburgh in 2 hours. Even on the T it often takes me 1.5 hours to get from green line to fields corner for Vietnamese food. Meanwhile we pass 4 bad Vietnamese places.

I don't think you'd tell that guy from Cleveland that they have good Vietnamese food if they had to travel to Pittsburgh to get it. It's a matter of time and perspective!

I love it when people who have clearly lived in an urban area for less than 5 years complain about the T. Do you not realize how good we have it?

*yes, I know compared to literally any other continent, the T is trash, but within the US, it's an easy top 5 system, probably top 3.

Some douche was wheelie-ing down Seaport Blvd. on some loud ass quad bike, kicking up exhaust and being obnoxious as hell. I only come round every few months, is this kinda thing regular?
