No, they are just colours from the flags of the countries.
Originally, I was going to fill in each bar with a picture of a beer from the country but I couldn't figure out a way to make it look good. Then I was going to do flags, but I had the same problem. So I settled on a colour from the flag.

The source reports total calories supplied to the community not total calories consumed by an individual.
So let’s hope Czechia pours a lot of its beer down the drain rather than drinking it all.

Somehow I think more food is wasted than beer haha

In Germany, yes. In Germany if you poor away a little bit after a party you hear: „Das gute Bier“ (The good bear). Nobody complains about throwing away food though

I know it's a typo but someone should definitely make a beer called The Good Bear

No worries! It was humorous and still clear what you actually meant.

Namibia showing its colors as a former German colony. Gabon is a bit surprising to me, though.

I had no idea but your comment prompted me to find that article.
I couldn't find much about Gabon, but here is an article if you are interested: http://enoromi.com/index.php/enquetes/societe-des-brasseries-du-gabon-entreprise-citoyen-et-leader-de-la-production-de-boissons-au-gabon

In Czechia we have 12-8 rule. If you arrive at a pub at noon, you drink 8 Beers. If you go at 8pm, its 12 you have to drink. So I would say tourism has little effect /s

You must work at the FAO. If you look at section VI of their methodology, they attempt to adjust for tourism: https://fenixservices.fao.org/faostat/static/documents/FBS/New%20FBS%20methodology.pdf
