Maybe 'Eddie' doesn't fit inside smaller venues.
That is a possibility honestly: the size of their stage show. I can't picture Rammstein ever playing anything smaller than a stadium for the same reason.
JP still headline stadiums, they sold out the Moda center year before last. They're probably doing clubs sometimes because it's less stressful.
Huh...good to know. I saw them in Boston a couple weeks ago and wondered why they were someplace so small.
As some who plays music live, clubs can be way more intimate and you can really get a good vibe of how people are enjoying the performance which then boost the performance, while I haven’t played a packed out arena before I have played on big stages in festivals and it can feel like you’re in a different world than the people watching the show especially if there is 10 ft barricade in-front of the stage.
Huh...thanks for the explanation. I suppose at this stage of their career Judas Priest certainly can choose to play wherever they prefer. They can't be needing the money at this point.
Judas Priest is literally on tour right now.. what are you going on about?
I know. I saw them a couple weeks ago in Boston. In a club, not a stadium.
MGM Music Hall? That’s a hall, bigger than a club. Also both bands played the same arena in my area this year.
It has a capacity of 5000. That's 10x smaller than the venues where Iron Maiden plays.
Check their past dates on this tour. Most are for arenas. I saw them at a 20,000 seat arena this year, same exact venue that Maiden played.
Huh...maybe the venue I saw them at isn't representative of where they typically play then. It's not like we don't have stadiums in Boston though.

Maybe that's what they prefer doing? Lots of bands have ended up preferring to play in clubs and concert halls than in stadiums.
