I made this for my grandson’s 4th birthday. He loves fire trucks and Lego so I made everything from fondant and sugar to cover the homemade vanilla buttercream-filled strawberry cake.

Haha, you make it sound so easy! I know my roommate likes bananas so I buy him a few when I am the store thinking I am considerate and attentive. But he is happy, I am happy 🤷‍♀️.

You are nextFingLevel material!

I don't like sugar decors honestly, but this is amazing

Super impressive! I thought this was real Legos until I read the title. Just stay away from the subreddit that hates fondant and please keep posting!

I can't stand fondant, but the details, the colors, the sharpness...its all so damn good. You got some skills.

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment! I get the fondant comment as many people that way. It’s a great sculptural medium and really helps to achieve some pretty cool outcomes!

Damn, this looks like something I'd see on a Netflix show. Seriously impressive, well done. And very thoughtful.

This randomly popped up in my newsfeed I’m like oh look at the legos ….wait I see Alex.

You have amazing talent. I wish you could make me one of these. Don’t care how old I am 😂

I’m gonna show this to my mom to make her jealous. When I was like 10 she made me a LEGO cake and it did not turn out well, lol.

Whoa. that's so cool! It's so well-made. I'm afraid it's too beautiful to be destroyed by eating it. lol

Really nice job on all the details. Each piece looks like a lego and it feels like I could snap some bricks into the top. The color is also fantastic and I bet a lego truck was difficult to make.

Beautiful work! You are quite the artist, I can't imagine how many hours you've invested into creating this cake. Mind sharing how long it took?

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment. It took about 15 hours to create from start to finish.

Incredible! Is this also your profession? You’re so talented! I saw the cut picture on another thread and the cake itself looks so moist and delicious.

You should have included a single, real Lego brick somewhere.
