Sometimes when I am playing games such as valorant, tarkov, LOL, and other games I frequently play right in the middle of playing them my computer screen will freeze and then pixelate some of the screen with dif colored pixels and then restart on its own, I was wondering if this is a problem of it being overheated or if it’s a graphics card issue cause I have one of the newer GeForce RTX graphics card as my computer is only about a year and a half old but idk what causes this problem and would like to see how I can I fix it myself although I’m not very tech savvy.

Brightly colored trippy artifacting is the main symptom of bad VRAM on your graphics card (if memory serves)

Yeah it freezes and shows like pixels in dif colors and then the computer resets after it’s frozen for a minute or so does that mean I have to replace it or could it simply be like dust or something causing it to mess up

Overheating, or overclocking yes. Try a frame limiter at games.

Like as in setting the max fps to reach only certain limits or what do you mean specifically

Yes, this, you have been running your computer flat out, for long, it might have degraded.
