Excuse my stupidity, I never had this problem with the iPhone 10 but I just can’t get ringtones for my iPhone 14. I tried Zedge, and it has like five options for ringtones. When I go on my husbands android, he has hundreds, including the minions ringtone that I want. I went to the Zedge Ringtone Guide and it opened the garbage app or whatever that is and it locked up my phone, I had to turn off the phone. I went to Zedge on my pc, found the minions ringtone, downloaded it, but now can’t get it to my iPhone. How do I get it to my iPhone. I tried iTunes and my phone won’t connect to iTunes. Thank you for your help!

You keep saying your iphone, you need to realise it's Apples iphone and you will do as they say.

I really thought the world had moved past the personalised ringtone era. You never hear the first few bars of "I'm shipping off to Boston" or a shit impersonation of a Peter Kay character anymore.

Apple wants you to get ringtones over their store, so they can earn money.

You can bypass this with Garageband, putting some MP3s or WAVs onto your phone, import them into a track, export as ringtone.

I did this, and got as far as selecting the song to export, and it said "Song cannot be exported unless it's a touch song" whatever the hell that means. I walked through all the steps, what did I do wrong. Should I be selecting a particular keyboard? Now when I open GarageBand, it opens to that file and won't go back to the beginning so I can start over.

Search for iPhone ringtone converter online, there are websites that convert mp3 or other audio formats into apple ringtone format that’s AC3 with file extension .M4R. You can do the same thing with iTunes as well, search how to make iPhone ringtone in iTunes on YouTube. IMO the online websites would just give you the converted file straight away after you upload your mp3 file. Hope this helps.

I have found and downloaded the mp3 file, and converted it. But I don’t see a way to get it to my iPhone. Using iTunes says it won’t connect to the phone and then when it does it does let me copy to the Tones directory, there’s the red circle when I attempt to drag the file there. I never get the message on my phone that asks Do you trust this computer. Hotspot is on. How do I get the converted file to the right place on the iPhone?

Unfortunately there isn’t an easy way importing others ringtones.. the EASY way is starting iTunes Store app on your iPhone, search term “ringtone minions”, listen to them, pic any you wish, pay a buck and then the ringtone downloads and installs correctly on your phone..

Ringtone Minions
