I don’t worry about the fingerprints because the only time I look at the phone is at the display when it’s on and you can’t see any of them. Out of sight, out of mind.

The look and feel of a caseless iPhone is unmatched

The paint rubbing off is something very annoying though…their paint has gotten really soft in the new phones

If your paint is rubbing off you should definitely be exchanging your phone. That sounds like a manufacturing defect

It’s small chips here and there, probably from dust particles and the camera bump has quite a bit of wear and tear

The Pros frosted glass really avoids this, but I do understand your pain as the ss edges on the white are magnets for fingerprints

Some people just care less about things other people cant deal with, to some their phone is just a tool they use and they just want it in decent condition and others are emotionally or aesthetically attached in a way that every small blemish on their highly valued phone drives them mad.

I remember a similiar thread here where someone was asking how people without screen protectors are able to avoid and deal with „micro scratches“ and some answers where like „what micro scratches, i dont care?“ and others were like highly concerned too and could relate to the topic.

I dont know if one can easily change the type of person they are when it comes to this.

TL;DR: I just dont care. Some people do, some just dont

Aluminum back makes me forget about fingerprints on top of that most of the time when using my phone I stare at front where the screen is so no problem at all

Same way I cope with fingerprints on my car, refrigerator, bicycle, etc.

I look at the gouge on the band. The one spot on my phone that doesn't match the rest of the paint because it's been scratched off. 1000x worse than any fingerprints.

For non-pro iPhones you could get a matte protector for the back glass - that way both the sides and back are non-glossy.

Pro iPhones are trickier as the sides are glossy, so to make them matte it would require a skin which is harder to apply.

If you Don’t mind not showing the colour of your phone skins are the way to go. Check out Dbrand

You can get a front and back screen protector. But I use a case for mine.

every time i pull my phone out of my trouser pocket it’s like the pocket gives the screen back and sides a nice lint-free wipe

I have not used a case or screen protector on any iPhone since 2008. I have only ever broken one screen in all that time.

I can’t say I’ve ever been bothered by fingerprints. When I get big scratches on the frame from dropping it on concrete, that’s a little annoying, but it’s hardly that big a deal. I have a few scratches on the screen, but less than you’d expect.

Every case is both less nice looking than the phone is and also in many cases can damage the phone when dropped due to how force is redistributed. As a result I’ve never used a case at all, except briefly when I wanted to try fancy leather ones. I stopped after a few weeks.

Well one this is for sure if ur using it with out a case u want to feel ans experience the exquisite feel, and with that comes a little extra effort in maintaining it, I personally like my product RED case less but ya at the end of the day i give it a little wipe and keep it up for charge, that mostly does with the pints and other stuff on it, And ya I always carry a wipe wit me just in case if something fell or it got dirty, just a little effort and it’s flawless whole day

Dust you can just use a microfiber to clean off, micro scratches are whatever to me now but use to care a lot. But to me scratch, dents, and dings are all just sign that device is reliable enough to still work even after being damaged. It’s a tool to me.

That is not the issue. My issue with it being caseless (12 PM) is that it slowly slides out of my hand, and i fell like i get electric shocks from the edges

I look at the front of the phone, not the back or sides.

There isn’t enough time for fingerprints and dust to accumulate. Most of them have cracked phones.
