Left my phone on charge and when I unplugged it it turned out like this. Nothing I've tried has fixed it. Is it just my screen that's broken or do I need a whole new phone? Thanks for the help!

If you dropped it recently or gotten liquid in it, usually screens mess up because of the iOS or apps creating a glitch. Try a hard reset or maybe plug it back in and see what happens.

If you can't find a solution to the damage to your phone, maybe you could consider consulting with these people, basically they are the best iPhone repairmen in all of Latin America, they speak Spanish, I don't know if they answer in English, but for what you need the google translate can help.
Many times in Apple stores they do not know how to respond to this type of damage and they do not respond for the guarantee or they simply send you a new cell phone when it may be that the repair is something simple or not so expensive, whatever, I hope this information helps you. Greetings.
