Korean hot dogs have been around for a while (they are fun Korea...). It's not really purely for the gram. I personally like this and it's coming to the mall... where it makes sense. Not like it's taking up valuable street space.

Seems like a good addition. Manhattan has a bunch of places like this but not Kong Dog exactly. Will be good to have an option right in JC

I agree. No matter what it is, people would complain and this is actually a great way to have something different every once in a while. There are still lines around the block in some places to get these hot dogs so the demand is clearly there.
There’s a good amount of all types of cuisines accessible around here.

I am a big fan of food on sticks (I lived in Minnesota for a couple years and the MN State Fair has an abundance of fantastic food on sticks). I tried a K-Dog last year at the stall at Union Square Holiday Market and came away underwhelmed. Too doughy and whichever one I had just didn't come together at all.
I'll give this one a shot, though. Hope it lives up to the "sensation".
