In a shopping center on the Medford-Malden border.

You can see the address in the thumbnail.

There is an empty K-Mart in on the Fitchburg/Leominster line that they can use. Maybe they will change the plaza name to Alphabet Plaza.

That place DESPERATELY needs a Costco.

Anything there would be great. it is a convenient off/back on the highway to access that plaza.

Best Asian food court around. Especially in Burlington. 1 stall for each style of cuisine, miss working near there

I'd love one in NH but there aren't enough Asians here to support it. We go down to Burlington.

I would love for this to be anywhere closer to Worcester but I'm prepared for us to not get nice things.

Gotta be Townline Plaza, where Donut Villa is. Bad news for Super 88 and New Wei Feng Market.

I can't make out anything from that link or thumbnail, but I know Malden/Medford had an Asian Supermarket there when I was a kid. First time I had aloe vera drink and White Rabbit. Not sure if it's still around but if it's going there, it's just a change in name. I cannot imagine an Asian store in that part of town was doing business well enough to stick around.

88, I think it was called?

I been to the new one in Quincy when it opened and saw lots of moldy produce. I haven't been back since. I hope their produce scene has since been fixed.

Also in regards to (other) Asian markets, I would love to see Maruichi spread and grow. Would be amazing to get some Japanese markets on the level of Mitsuwa.

Edit: Sure, vote me down for reporting moldy food. Makes perfect sense.

Kam Man Foods in Quincy is great!

Kam Man has been fine. I literally found mold on H-Mart's produce in Quincy though. The H-Mart in Central has been fine.

There is CMart, 99 Ranch, New York Mart, Kam Man Foods, a lot of Quincy.

I'm aware. I would just like to see more Japanese-specialized ones. I've been to Kam Man, Good Fortune, and a few others. I'm aware.

I live in Quincy and think that would be cool. For the time being I like Maruichi up in Brookline

Haven't had a problem, most of the shitty produce we see is at stop and shop on the artery. That place is a dive 🫤

I'm not going to deny other places have shitty produce.

I am not also saying that H-Mart is exclusively moldy produce.

What I am saying is, the day I went..... the one and only day back when they were opening, there was white-fuzz moldy apples and other things we saw there. Is it like that now? I don't know. Again, been to the Quincy one once and I go to the Cambridge H-Mart atleast once a month when I go up into Boston.

It isn't hate on H-Mart. It isn't hate on Asian markets. It's just that my first and only experience I had in Quincy's H-mart was when the produce was outright nasty.

I'm hoping to go back again soon, maybe in a few weeks or something to see again. But did not leave a good feeling seeing as much moldy produce as I did that day. I think moldy produce anywhere should be a concern, be it H-Mart, Market Basket, Stop and Shop, Roche Bros, Good Fortune or anywhere.

Just blows my mind that whenever I bring up this event, it pisses people off like I shouldn't talk about my experience with it.
