What is your favorite director hot streak? In this instance, a "hot streak" is 3 or more consecutively released films by one director that you feel are great movies.

Some examples with my ultimate selection:

Denis Villeneuve: Sicario, Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Dune: Part One

Christopher Nolan: Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Inception

The Coen Brothers: Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?

And my personal favorite is Stanley Kubrick: Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange; three of my all-time favorite movies.

John McTiernan had a great action streak at the end of the 80s: Predator, Die Hard and The Hunt for Red October

Richard Donner had a couple of good streaks: The Omen, Superman, Superman II and then later The Goonies, Lethal Weapon and Scrooged.

Tim Burton: Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Ed Wood. That is a solid-ass run.

Stanley Kramer had an insane run. He had the following movies.

The Defiant Ones (1958)

On The Beach (1959)

Inherit the Wind (1960)

Judgment at Nuremburg (1961)

It's a Mad Mad Mad World (1963)

Ship of Fools (1965)

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967)

Seven movies, won 9 Oscars, nominated for 42 more Oscars. That's not a typo.

Over 1 win and over 7 nominations on average for 7 straight movies.
