It's Dummer Pond Road you need to watch out for.

I’m trying to plan a trip up north but time it just right because the foliage has been unpredictable this year due to the droughts. We drove out through Peterborough/Keene this past weekend and some places had no foliage, some had a little, and Dublin was a gold mine with incredible foliage. In this picture it looks like they might be slightly past peak? Pictures never do justice though. Would you say they’re at peak or past peak?

It’s almost time. Hearing Columbus Day weekend will be prime leaf peeping. Can anyone confirm I missed it by a week last year

I’ve heard next weekend is peak for the white mountains. Also the visit nh website can tell you as well. I seem to miss it every year by a few days and I live In Londonderry.. think I’d be better about it but no.

We were planning on a trip next weekend for sure but it gets so crazy up there this time of year. Last year it took us 2 hours to get down the Kanc in literal bumper to bumper traffic. It’s so crazy.

Yeah it’s pretty crazy up there. I think last year it took us over an hour to get through concord so we just went to Hopkinton did a corn maze, bought a pie and headed back. That’s one of the good things about the region there’s always a backup plan not too far away.

That’s why we decided to drive out west this past weekend instead. Dublin was beautiful. Definitely happier with that trip than sitting in b2b traffic for hours on end with no place to pull over and actually take in the scenery.

It’ll definitely be getting close to peak at least. Things are turning pretty quickly, and we’re only on the seacoast
