Citizens Count is a nonprofit dedicated to providing unbiased information about Granite State issues and candidates. We endorse no candidates, and we take no issue positions. We send a survey to every candidate for state and federal office, and post any information they share with us. We also post voting records, public statements, etc.

I appreciate the work y'all are doing - and this is a bit of a nitpick - but there's no such thing as an unbiased political survey or questionnaire (which you publish as part of a candidate overview). Phrasing and ordering of questions can create bias, while the questions asked or not asked are also a factor. Personally, I think 'nonpartisan' works better.

For what it's worth, we actually switched from saying "nonpartisan" to "unbiased" because many advocacy groups still call themselves "nonpartisan"--they can do that because they are technically not affiliated with either party, despite having clear issue positions. Perhaps we need to crack open the thesaurus and look for even more alternative descriptors!
