Do you know if Darius still there? My artist used to work there and I liked when I was getting something done and Darius was just hanging with us. Cool dude.

Idk how they do with American traditional but Black Hatchet has a really good reputation. I’ve got some friends with ink from them and it looks sick. They’re just very popular so you have to book a while in advance.

Black Hatchet is great! Can’t speak to traditional, per se, but a well run shop with good people.

I might get vilified for this but I’d recommend going out to a major city for any permanent body mods like tattoos. Plenty of amazing world-class shops in Boston, NYC, and Philly.

To be clear here, I think you’re getting vilified not out of some local pride thing but because there are absolutely world class shops/artists in the area. I’d rather get work from someone like Joe Capobianco than just about anyone in any of those places.
